Q: What’s your favorite part about playing soccer?
A: My favorite part about playing soccer is definitely scoring goals, but also laughing and having fun with my teammates.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
A: I do. I always put on my right cleat first for good luck.
Q: Do you ever train individually outside of your practice sessions? If so, how does this help you improve your game?
A: Yes, I do. I do private training lessons outside of practice every week. These training sessions definitely help me clean up some mistakes I make and improve my skills. It is very helpful to have one-on-one training, so I can focus on specific aspects of my game.
Q: What has been your favorite moment while playing Laguna soccer, and why?
A: One of my favorite moments playing for Laguna soccer was when we had an away game at Dunn, and we were down three-to-one with not much time left, and we managed to come back and tie the game. Then, in the last minute of double overtime, we scored a walk-off game winner to win four-to-three!
Q: Who is someone you look up to when you play soccer?
A: Alyssa Thompson is someone I look up to when playing soccer because she’s someone who joined the national team at a young age and is a very hard worker. She is inspiring, and has excellent footwork with the ball at her feet.
