As we all try to adjust to our “new normal,” PeerBuddies is committed to providing opportunities for our community to stay connected.

PeerBuddies has gone virtual!

For our Virtual Private Sessions, just as with in-person sessions, a child or teen with special needs would be paired with a same-aged, or slightly older, Peer Buddy volunteer, but they would meet virtually through Zoom or FaceTime. A trained adult Facilitator will continue to facilitate the session, and each week, the pairing will participate in varied, stimulating, age-appropriate activities – all from home!

Sessions are 30-45 minutes in duration and are scheduled for once a week, between the hours of 9:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday.
