Rugby World Cup 2019

GAME ON! The world’s biggest rugby game is being played between the massive rugby nations England and South Africa. After playing 7 hard-fought games both teams are meeting once again in the final. The last time this happened was the 2007 finals were South Africa won.

Rugby is a brutal sport with hard and tough tackles with little too pretty much no gear. The only protection is a mouthguard. Now as you can assume, this leads to a lot of injuries and hard hits.

The 2019 final had a total of 1.69 million attendance and approximately 13 million viewers held in Japan. The tournament consists of 20 teams including the USA divided into 4 groups and 5 nations per group with the best 2 nations enter a knock out stage for the trophy. The USA did not play well however losing all 4 games.

Rugby is very similar to Football with the rules and the fundamental ground. Tackling, running and scoring in the same ways. Rugby was originally brought to the US from the UK and over time it has changed into the sport Football. Today rugby is hard to find which is a result of Football having a much higher following.
