Let me know if you would like posters (11″ x 17″), stickers to go on your recycling bin, and/or magnets (3″ x 9″) of what is recyclable for your classroom or home. Also – let me know if you need a recycling bin for your classroom – I have six here.
Friday, November 15th, is America Recycles Day: http://americarecyclesday.org/ Please put it on your calendar. Check out the ‘LIVE AT THE LANDFILL’ video!
You can also find curriculum materials online at <http://americarecyclesday.org/toolkit>, and many other websites, if you can fit an activity in to mark this day. Taking a tour of the Tajiguas Landfill is a great field trip with people of any age. A flyer attached about that. I am taking my third and fourth graders there on the 16th!
