June 10th is, obviously, the day we get out of school for the summer, which is so exciting! But you know what’s even more exciting? The fact that June 10th is ‘National Ballpoint Pen Day!’
Ok. So maybe it’s not as exciting as summer break, but it’s still on the top of the spectrum, right?
Anyhow, I felt that since ballpoint pens are so exciting and fun, I would share 3 amazing facts about these common writing utensils.

- ⅓ of all ballpoint pens in America are owned by BIC.
