On Monday December 14, Laguna held its first ever student-created Faculty Appreciation Day. Organized by the students of Dean Lopes’s Leadership Class, Faculty Appreciation Day was based on the idea that the students should give back to the teachers for their hard work that they do for us. The leadership class delivered a personalized and hand-written card to each teacher along with some holiday cookies. Additionally during assembly, a student-made video was shown featuring students from all grades throughout the middle school and upper school sharing what they admire and appreciate about their teachers. Lastly during lunch, teachers were able to enjoy a massage table generously provided by Lolli Lucas, Interim Head of Upper School.
