I work for an organization called World Volunteer who specialize in managing and leading high school focussed service projects in Asia, with great success particularly in Northern Laos. We pride ourselves in providing tailored solutions for schools working within minority villages where cultural education and long-term sustainable developmental benefits are key. Please take the time to watch this video which describes the work we have done building an Eco-Bungalow in northern Laos.
World Volunteer is currently in the planning and development phase of a new project in Nicaragua as we expand our reach globally beyond Europe and Asia-Pacific. Our local partner there is Casa Materna. Casa Materna are doing fantastic work in the field of post and pre-natal care for rural mothers with high-risk pregnancies. Our program will engage students in helping with this wonderful cause in the heart of rural Nicaragua which has goals of reducing maternal and infant mortality rates whilst empowering more women in this beautiful, but poor, country.
I believe our project in Nicaragua would be an ideal fit for Laguna Blanca’s service program and I would love the opportunity to talk with you more about the work we do and how we could work together. Could I suggest we arrange a telephone or Skype call to talk early next week?
Kind regards,
