United Way of Santa Barbara County is once again uniting our community for a day of caring and service. The 23rd Annual Day of Caring will be held on Saturday, September 20th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Over 1,600 volunteers will begin the day at 8:00 a.m. with a lively and inspiring FREE Kick-off Breakfast provided by Albertsons at the Page Youth Center. After the rally, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., volunteers will head out to various work sites throughout Santa Barbara County to assist local charities, schools, and parks with activities such as sorting food, painting, building adobe bricks, planting trees and gardening.
We are inviting Laguna Blanca Upper School to be a worksite this year and receive volunteers for your projects!!
To sign up, or for more information please contact Kerstin Padilla at [email protected] and check out our website here.
