Join SBBA at the Earth Day Festival
We are so excited to be a large part of the Homegrown Roots section of the upcoming Earth Day Festival next Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th at Alameda Park!
Santa Barbara Beekeepers Association was asked by the Community Environmental Council to have a large presence at the upcoming Earth Day Festival and of course we said, YES!
As you can see on the poster and above image the Community Environmental Council (CEC) added some artistic bees to the marketing materials as a way to show solidarity for the important role bees play in our environment. It is so wonderful to see a community pulling together for the well bee-ing of the bees and we are so honored to have been asked to represent the girls at the Earth Day Festival.
We NEED YOUR HELP!
We need volunteers for Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th to help spread the word about how SBBA is helping people help bees.
We are building a custom designed bee exhibit with Whole Foods, Fairview Gardens, the Men’s Garden Club and Fat Uncle Farms participating in our booth to help share the story of how crucial bees are for our environment. We are also a passport stop for the kids so it is fun for the whole family!
Join SBBA at Earth Day by volunteering at the booth and then spend some time walking around the festival and checking out all the fun things to do and see!
