Please help us recruit volunteers to support these awesome programs for kids in our community with special needs. Any help you can provide is appreciated!!.
Here are Programs we need help with RIGHT Away –
CHEER Leading for kids with and without special needs:
Saturdays, March 15th thru May 17th ; No practice on Saturday, March 29 (spring break)
9:30 – 11 am at Girsh Park in Goleta (behind Costco)
20 – 30 minutes can be for Cheer related crafts – fancy beaded shoelaces, hair bows, decorative frames, cheer gear bags, etc.
We are looking for volunteers to instruct beginning cheer and simple dance routines to a group of boys and girls, ages 5 – 18 with and without special needs. Most important is to build self esteem, develop friendships and respect for all.
Parents or caregiver support will be there during this program.

Basketball Skills Clinic for boys and girls with special needs:
8 Tuesdays, March 18th thru May 6th
3:45 – 5 pm
Page Youth Center, 4540 Hollister Avenue, Santa Barbara (Turnpike and Hollister)
Coach or Assist with beginning and intermediate instruction
One on one buddies needed to help a child be successful
Indoor and outdoor court instruction
Parents or caregiver support will be there during this program.
