Details about our internship are as follows. This position is open to anyone in grades 9 to 12.

2014 Internship – Social Media / Marketing Internship
Starting Date: Anytime after February 1, 2014
Paid, Part-time
Goal: Jefferson would like to more effectively use Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and the interns will assist us with using social media websites. An intern would be entrusted with managing a micro-campaign on one of these sites.

Details:
• Flexible hours (as little as 1 hour per week)
• Internship available during the school year
• Hourly payment of $15
• No need to commute: All work done via internet
• Excellent internship opportunity and resume builder for interested students – senior intern would be entrusted with a social media campaign
• International students welcome
• Having extra language skills would be nice, as we’d like to explore outreach in Mandarin, Russian, German, French, Arabic and other languages, since social media sites in some of these countries are often different from Facebook and Twitter
