The 100 Day Campaign for Safe Births
Morgan Raith and Allie Lafitte organize the Youth 4 Direct Relief International Club at Laguna in hopes of raising funds for the “Change. A Life. 100 Day Campaign.”
Youth for Direct Relief is working to save the lives of mothers and babies around the world with a new fundraising project, the 100 Day Campaign.
The volunteer group founded by Santa Barbara-area high school students is launching the 100 Day Campaign in September 2011. The premise is simple but compelling: Anyone can provide a safe birth by saving 25 cents a day for 100 days.
The campaign is simple:
- Find a jar, a can, or any container, and drop in a quarter every day for 100 days.
- At the end of your 100 days, count your change and make your tax-deductable donation to Direct Relief. You’ll help provide a safe birth.
