Friday, November 1^st – FILMMAKING deadline to submit samples to school

Saturday, November 23^rd – SCREENWRITING deadline to submit first draft to mentor

Monday, November 25^th – FILMMAKING Finalists announced via e-mail

Thursday, January 16^th – SCREENWRITING deadline for final scripts submitted to SBIFF

Screenwriter can turn in their strongest draft (the one they wrote themselves or the one they collaborated on with the filmmaker) Scripts are judged separately from the film

Tuesday, January 28^th – PRESS RECEPTION at TBD

Friday, February 7^th   – FILMMAKING Films submitted at festival hub by 10am

Sunday, February 9^th – SCREENING AND AWARDS at Lobero at 1pm

Sunday, February 9^th – WINNING FILMS SCREENED at closing night ceremony
