United Boys and Girls Clubs serve over 7,000 kids throughout the year, so it’s a very worthwhile and important organization in our community.
Mrs. Nelson is looking for high school volunteers this summer. If you are looking to volunteer over the summer, we could use you at one of the Clubs. It would have to be a regular commitment of a few hours a week, not a one-time deal, in order to make it work. If anyone is interested, please call me (cell: 895-1288) and I will help set it up. The four Clubhouses are located in Carpinteria, Westside, Goleta and Lompoc.
