Next Chapter Book Clubs:
Volunteers needed to train to facilitate a book club for individuals with intellectual disabilities (children, teens and adult groups). We train 2 volunteers for a group of 5-8 members that meet one hour weekly up to 12 weeks, or as many chapters are in a given book. Clubs meet in public locations such as coffee shops, libraries, mall courtyards, parks, etc. Book clubs are up and running so that you may visit one to see what to learn what to expect.
A Summer club could meet two times a week, or more, just to shorten the amount of time it will take to complete at book and work into your vacation schedule. We are flexible and work around volunteer schedules. Weekdays, weekends, day or evening are all perfect times to lead a group.
Contact Jennifer Feeney , [email protected] for details and upcoming trainings.
