We would like to invite students from your school to apply to our 2013 Global Internship Program. Would you be so kind as to share this with your students?

Details about our internship are as follows. This position is open to anyone in grades 9 to 12.

2013 Internship – Social Media / Marketing Internship

Starting Date: Anytime between May 1 and July 1

Paid, Part-time

Goal: Jefferson would like to learn more about how to use Twitter, Facebook, You-tube, and similar websites, and the internships would allow us to learn more about how we can better use these websites.

Details:

Flexible hours (as little as 1 hour per week – or more during the summer)
Hourly payment of $15
Ideally the intern could begin working during the current academic term, with as little as 1 hour a week
More potential for hours during the summer
No need to commute or leave school: All work done via internet
Excellent internship opportunity and resume builder for interested students – senior intern would be entrusted with a social media campaign
International students welcome
Having extra language skills would be nice, as we’d like to explore outreach in Mandarin, Russian, German, French, Arabic and other languages, since social media sites in some of these countries are often different from Facebook and Twitter
