Here are a few updates and upcoming H4O events:
Water Systems for our first 5 projects in Rote, Indonesia are funded and should be sent from the U.S. to Indonesia this month.
H4O leader Lakey Peterson’s new movie “Zero to 100” premieres at the Lobero theater on Sunday February 10. Please get tickets and come and support her. H4O is mentioned in the movie and we will have a booth there, if you would like to volunteer at our booth contact Jessie at [email protected].
We will be hosting 3 Walk4Waters this spring: Denver on April 27, Santa Barbara on May 4 and San Francisco on May 11. In Santa Barbara to help with logistics leading up to the event and/or the day of the event connect with Vicki at [email protected]. We are looking for as many schools, churches and other organizations to get involved, build teams, raise money and walk. We have really cool Walk4Water tool kits to help everyone get started. To learn more, connect with me at [email protected] or sign up sbwalk4water.org. We would also love to have local businesses join The Habit and Sundance Beach as sponsors for the walk. If you have any thoughts please contact Brent Reichard at [email protected]. Lets all Walk together and get clean water to children and families around the world who need our help.
We are hosting an evening of music with Brandon Heath (his #1 hit “Give me Your Eyes” was H4O’s first theme song) on Saturday March 30 at The Dusebouts. This is limited to 30 families and requires a donation of $500 per family. It is our goal to fund at least one water system for a village in Haiti with the proceeds from this very cool night. To reserve a spot please contact John Davies at [email protected].
Our next vision trip will be to Honduras in June (tentative dates are June 16-June 23). We are very excited as they trips rock! and will do our best to accommodate all who want to go and are even open to a second trip as well if needed but really need to give priority to young people who show leadership, create teams, raise $ and encourage participation in our walk so let’s get moving! Everyone who has been on these trips can share how incredible and life changing they are.
Onward, together we will “Be the Generation” that solves the world’s water crisis.
