I would like to invite you and the students at Laguna Blanca to attend this year’s World Youth Economic Forum (WYEF) July 27-30, 2013. Held in Shanghai, China, this unique program provides students invaluable, real world experience with International Relations, Economics and building Leadership Skills.
Led by founders of the Global Undergraduate Economic Forum at Yale University, the WYEF is a four-day competition during which students:
• Take part in business simulation committees
• Solve a simulated international economic crisis
• Focus on several other intensive subjects
• Network with the approximate 1,000 other international students
For details about WYEF, please download our brochure or visit our web site. Applications for pre-registration are due December 30th so take a moment now to review the program information.
Around 1,000 students from 20 countries are expected to attend the 2013 Forum. Your students will be part of a global workforce. WYEF is an amazing opportunity for them to experience international business firsthand and work closely with students from a wide range of backgrounds.
Please share the brochure and our web site with your students and their parents. For every 10 students that attend WYEF and an accompanying educational tour from your school, you’ll receive one free spot for a teacher. Priority registration ends December 30th and all applications are due March 31st.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I look forward to welcoming you and your students as WYEF delegates.
