What would a magnificent community look like? Feel like? Would it be a
place where all are welcomed regardless of their age, race, religion, or
sexual orientation? Would everyone respect each other and help each
other? Would it be No Place for Hate®?
Create.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) would like to invite students from
No Place for Hate® schools in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties to
participate in a new poster competition, co-sponsored by Montecito
Bank & Trust.
The theme of this poster competition is “Community” and we encourage
creativity and imagination. Show us what community means to you by
creating a poster using whatever material/media inspires you mostcollage,
decoupage, drawing, painting, photos, woodcut prints… It’s up
to you to decide!
When you are ready to share your vision with us (and our community)
send the ADL office your submission.
Selected works will be shown in February 2013 at the Montecito Bank &
Trust branches of Santa Barbara, Goleta, Solvang, Ventura and
Westlake Village.
All works will be displayed and the winners announced at the annual No
Place for Hate® reception at the Santa Barbara County Office of
Education on March 14, 2013.
