We are excited to announce that Jewish teens throughout the entire United States are eligible for the 2013 Awards. Read more about nominations for the $36,000 awards, now open, here.
Based on the Jewish concept of tikkun olam (“repairing the world”), the Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards seek to recognize teens who are exceptional role models in their communities and beyond.
The Awards celebrate teens who have demonstrated remarkable leadership and are actively engaged in projects which embody the values of tikkun olam. Teen projects may benefit the Jewish community or the general community.
Up to ten selected teens, five from California and five from other communities across the country, will each be acknowledged for their visionary actions with an award of $36,000, to be used to further their philanthropic work or their education.
