The Lions Club Student Speakers Contest will be held on Thursday, February 7, at 6:00 p.m. at the Carpinteria Lions Club Park, 6197 Casistas Pass Road, Carpinteria. This year’s topic is “How Do We Create and Keep Jobs in America?” Contestants in this year’s contest are anticipated to be one each from Carpinteria High School, Cate School, and Laguna Blanca School. If students are interested in more information, please direct them to talk to Trish McHale.
