Chloe Gidney (‘25)
A: I went twice, so I had four surprise songs! I had ‘Death By a Thousand Cuts,’ ‘You’re on Your Own, Kid,’ ‘I Know Places,’ and ‘King of My Heart.’
A: The first night I went, I dressed up as Debut. I wore a white dress, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat. The second night, I dressed up as a Lover with my best friend. I wore a hot pink dress, and my friend and I put bows in our hair for Gracie Abrams. I also drew a 13 on my hand both nights I went.
A: My favorite part of the concert was the surprise songs the first night I went because Death By a Thousand Cuts is my all-time favorite song! I was so excited; I could not believe I got my favorite song.
A: I think she will continue to be the best in the music industry and release more albums and hopefully more Taylor’s Versions of albums! I am waiting for the Reputation Taylor’s Version, which I hope she will release after the tour.
JJ Stone (‘26)
A: I went to the Los Angeles showing on Night 1. My surprise songs were “I Can See You” and “Maroon”.
A: My friends and I dressed up as different Taylor Swift albums. I was Lover; I wore a pink suit with a light blue shirt, and my friends painted glittery hearts around my eyes like the album cover.
A: Besides the entire concert, a favorite part of mine was when the screens on stage looked like Taylor was swimming under the stage until she popped out of the other end in an entirely different outfit! It was a really cool effect to watch, and I couldn’t imagine how fast she would have had to change while running down to the other end of the stage!
A: Firstly, I think that Taylor will take a majorly deserved break as she has been on tour for over a year, which is insane. I think after that it may be a while before we get another album. Maybe because she will want to focus on her personal life more, hang out with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, or have some more time to cool off after the Eras tour. She will definitely release another “Taylor’s Version” of an album sometime soon after the Eras tour and after a break. In general though, I don’t think Taylor’s major successes are going to stop anytime soon!
Camilla Joffrey (‘27):
A: My surprise songs were “this is me trying” on guitar and “State of Grace” on piano.
A: I matched with my two little sisters as Taylor in the “22” music video, with the “Not Alot Going on at the Moment” shirt, the hat, and the red heart sunglasses.
A: My favorite part of the concert was the “Midnights” era at the very end. There was one part in “Anti-Hero” that a bunch of swifties on Twitter had agreed to screech: “Taylor, you’ll be fine.” I felt like I understood the 63,000 people in that stadium because we all were screaming our favorite underrated songs we felt so connected to.
A: She has been touring for almost two years, she is a billionaire, she just put out an album, and she really has the freedom to do anything she wants. I’ve seen internet rumors that she is making some sort of film. She still has two re-records, too. Maybe she’ll make a documentary about the “Taylor’s Version” process. I’m guessing “reputation” comes before “Taylor Swift” because it seems poetic for her to take back her first album last, but she always surprises us.
