This Wednesday, November 30th, All Voices Heard and Student Council will be throwing a bake sale during lunch in the senior quad. We will be accepting cash and Venmo. All baked goods will range from $2 – $5.

All proceeds will be donated to a young, local, Chumash filmmaker, Spenser Jaimes, who is raising money for his second documentary project on the Chumash Revolt of 1824. To learn more about his project you can follow this link. Jaimes is only $461 away from his fundraising goal, if we happen to exceed this number we will donate to another fund to support the Chumash Tomols of Syuxtun. “This is a wishlist of items needed to help operate and care for the Xax’ ‘Alolk’oy and ‘Eleye’wun, two traditional tomols located in Syuxtun, Chumash Territory (Santa Barbara, CA.) Kaqʰinalin for supporting Chumash culture and sovereignty!”
