1) Santa Barbara Camp Millionaire, Ages 10-14

July 13-17, 9 am to 4 pm, Veterans Building. We’re hosting it again through the SB Park & Rec AND get this…they just opened registration on Monday and we’re more than 1/2 way booked (30 max).

If you’re wanting to register your child or know someone who does, get them registered ASAP because this camp is going to fill up quickly. We may have to offer TWO next summer.

Also, we’re looking for accommodations for our second instructor in Santa Barbara so if you have a spare room or cabin you’d consider donating  July 12-17, please let me know ASAP.

2) Kalispell (Montana) Camp Millionaire, ages 10-14.

Yahoo!…I just got the OK to do a camp near my new hometown in Montana! Dates are August 3-7 at one of the local schools in Kalispell, MT. Registration at the Kalispell Park & Rec will be open soon so if you’re close to or within driving distance, please join us.

3) Teacher Training & Coaching 

If you’re been wanting to attend one of our camps to be coached and learn the program so you can do your own camps next summer (2021 ), now is the time to do it. Shoot me an email and I’ll call you with the details.

4) Volunteers Needed at both camps

As you know, 30 bright, shiny kids have a TON of energy and the more adult eyes we have on them and with them, the better the experience for everyone involved. Please consider joining us this summer…the experience will be invaluable!

5) Book your accommodations if you’re coming from out of town

Both Santa Barbara and Kalispell are tourist destinations in the summer. Kalispell is home to the international airport where people fly in from literally all over the world to go to Glacier National park so hotels and AirBnBs are often booked long before summer begins.

Lastly, I’m thinking about having a trade show booth at the National Recreation and Park Association conference in Orlando in October to show other Park & Rec Departments how exciting (and successful!) it it to offer o ur Camp Millionaire programs. I’m convinced this is how we can grow the program all over the US. If you’re in Orlando and would like to help with the booth or have some company (me :-), let me know. I much prefer staying with friends than staying in hotels!
