Chicago Spring Trip

Zoë King

“Eventually, I think Chicago will be the most beautiful great city left in the world.” -Frank Lloyd Wright, American architect.

Spring trips were just recently pulled into the spotlight, and Chicago is one of them! Freshman and sophomores, in addition to juniors and seniors (depending on space available), have been given the opportunity to go to Chicago for the spring trip.

From its artistic performances to its sports culture to its rich history, Chicago truly has something for everyone to see.

Students will start out by visiting the University of Chicago and meeting the Editor-in-chief of The Chicago Maroon, Pete Grieve. They will then take a walk in Hyde Park.

Students will also visit the Chicago History Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, and the Field Museum. Everyone will visit Hancock Tower, one of the tallest buildings in America, and I Grow in Englewood, a nonprofit youth center used to give kids an opportunity to get involved in different forms of art and technology.

They will also have the opportunity to watch live theater, professional sports games, and shop at the Magnificent Mile shopping center.

Hang on for a minute...we're trying to find some more stories you might like.
