In the wake of the Parkland shooting, the Laguna Blanca community gathered together on the field to collectively mourn and to open up the discussion about preventing these traumatic events.
Laguna was just one of the countless schools across the country that participated in walkouts organized by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students who survived the shooting.
Nationally, the March 14th walkout was a call to action for United States legislators to enforce stricter gun control laws in the wake of so many mass shootings.
