Last Saturday, Laguna Blanca participated for its 8th year in the annual CA Coastal Cleanup Day. 83 participants picked up 77 pounds of trash, a 500-pound telephone pole, and 20 pounds of recycling from Hammonds/Miramar Beach.
About 70 participants were on the beach representing Laguna Blanca School, including students from all three divisions, faculty, administration, and a board member. Thanks to all of you, the coast is cleaner!
Faculty members Allison Armstrong and Melissa Abrams as well as five sixth graders: Mason Berg, Tracey Cao, Jonah Jeter, Natalie Murray, and Elyse Weaver, oversaw the table.
