Dear Nomination Team,
We had an incredible time with the five Santa Barbara Area Students attending the GLC Washington, DC Experience. The November 4-8, 2011 trip connected the 18 students from across the country. We stayed at the Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel and mastered the metro! The Pentagon, The White House, The Capital-The House and the Senate, The Supreme Court in session, Georgetown University, The American Red Cross, The CIA, Union Station, museums and monuments were a few of our highlights. The Monuments at night are always one of the students favorites! See attached picture of students at the Pentagon.
