The brainchild of Laguna Blanca science teachers Staci Richard and Zach Moore, the 2016-2017 school year introduced a brand new class for a new generation of young scientists.

The Science, Technology, Research and Mathematics (STEM) class opened up opportunities for more in-depth fields of study for a group of nine sophomore students. We asked students to write down their favorite things about the class so far: after all, in a class where students learn by doing, the best people to write about the class are the students themselves.
