Marble Easter Eggs

Marble Easter Eggs

This year you no longer have to go out to the store and spend money on a boring Easter egg dye kit because everyday household supplies can create an elaborate design that is so much better than those silly little dye tablets. To create these marble easter eggs, all one needs is water, nail polish, a disposable container, a thing to stir with, rubber gloves, and of course the hard boiled eggs. Forget the worries of dying your hands and clothes, because using nail polish as substitute is easy, different, and doesn’t stain you or your clothes. Friends and family are astonished by these unique patterns, bold colors, and creative flare to this Easter necessity.

Directions:

Step 1: Fill a container 3/4 of a cup full with room temperature water. Make sure the water is not to cold, because if so, the nail polish will sink to the bottom.

Step 2: Add a few drops of nail polish. The more drops of nail polish there are, the darker the egg will be.

Step 3:  Lightly stir the water and nail polish to give it the marble look.

Step 4: Dip the egg under the water and swirl the mixture using your rubber gloves.

Step 5: Allow the eggs to dry (cookie cooling rack works well).
