Get ready for the spring musical coming to Spaulding Theatre in April on Thursday the 14th, Friday the 15th, and Saturday the 16th. Seussical, a magical musical based on the characters of Dr. Suess, a famous children’s book writer, best-loved characters such as: Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Sour Kangaroo, and a little boy with a big imagination—Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus and to the invisible world of Whos. Come see and support Laguna’s hard working actors and especially seniors Jose Espinosa, Wakelin McNeil, Cameron Morello, Valeria Romo, Maddie Sokolove, and Bea Tolan. After asked about being able to perform in the last performance with our talented senior actors, sophomore Camila Lamere remarked, “It is making me really sad because I have really gotten to know them from last year and this year and they are all so funny and we have become really close friends. I am going to miss them a lot but I know that they will do amazing in college.” Seussical is definitely a show worth watching! So come see our spectacular high school students ranging from grades sixth to twelfth integrate their acting and music abilities into a fun energetic performance!
