The Santa Barbara Central Library is seeking volunteers for the 2015 Summer Reading Program. Can you please share this announcement with students who may be interested?
Volunteers Needed for 2015 Summer Reading Program!
The library’s 2015 Summer Reading Program, “Every Hero Has a Story,” is from June 9th through July 31st. Volunteers are needed for morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts to assist with enrolling children in the program, tracking them, and giving out prizes.
If you are interested in volunteering, there are trainings this month and in June. Volunteers only need to attend one training. The trainings will take place in the Faulkner West at the Central Library (40 E. Anapamu St.). These trainings are for those who want to volunteer at the Central Library location.
Please RSVP for a training by calling the children’s desk at 805-564-5603. You can fill out a volunteer application and volunteer agreement (volunteer application and volunteer agreement) and bring both forms with you to the training.
