My name is Erik Krone, and I’m the coordinator for a summer English-immersion camp taking place in Santa Barbara in July. We’re flying over almost 30 Spanish and Italian teenagers to spend three weeks learning English in your beautiful city and visiting sites around Southern California (Six Flags, Hollywood, etc.).
We have an urgent need for English-speaking volunteers to spend time with our campers, both in the classroom and on our field trips (day trips, surfing, beach volleyball, etc.). This is a great opportunity for local students to get to know Europeans their age, make life-long friends, and simply help spread the wealth of our language. There are no minimum hours or obligations – we just ask for commitment when interest is expressed.
