We need a ton of help this weekend. Please find our most urgent volunteer opportunities below in order of urgency:
Help with the Wine Country Half Marathon in Solvang on May 10th
• Check in runners at the pick-up stations in Santa Barbara (Saturday, May 10th at 5:00-9:30am at Fess Parker or Bacara Hotel – you do not need to go to Solvang to volunteer for this position)
• Serve wine/beer in Solvang (Saturday, May 10th from 7:00am – 12:00pm) – Must be 21+ – Transportation from Santa Barbara will be provided (bus will leave at 6:00am)
Unload Trucks of Food for the Letter Carrier’s Food Drive on May 10th
• Need 15-20 volunteers at Patterson Post Office from 4:00-6:00pm
• Need 10-15 volunteers at Anacapa Post Office from 4:00-6:00pm
Distribute Food to Kids this Summer or Help Coordinate Activities for the Kids – (Picnic in the Park Program)
• Distribute meals to kids and engage them in fun activities 2 or more days per week.
• Bilingual volunteers preferred, but not mandatory
• Our program runs Monday – Friday from 11:00am – 1:00pm June through August in Santa Barbara, Goleta, IV, and Carpinteria
Help with Fork & Cork Classic Fundraiser on June 1st at Montecito Country Club
• Set up
• Take down
• Registration booth
• Game booths
• Help restaurants unload
• Security
• Clean up
• Many more volunteer jobs
