On Exhibit in the Head of School’s Office

Margaux Murphy ’19 is exhibiting her photographs in the inaugural show in the new Head of School Gallery space. Margaux, a Laguna sophomore, was the 2015 recipient of the Laguna Blanca Photography Award. An opening is being planned for a future date.

Also on display in the gallery are sculpted animals created by Laguna’s talented MS Ceramics class, and large watercolor paintings by Mr. Johnson’s MS Drawing and Painting class.

Empty Bowl Project

unnamedStudents in Upper School Ceramics and Instructor CJ Johnson have been busy this past month creating bowls for “The Empty Bowls Project,” in collaboration with Daniel Dean and the SB Foodbank. A collection of about 20 bowls varying in sizes was assembled for the fundraising event, which took place at the Page Youth Center on November 13.
