“South Park”

South Park

south park“South Park” This classic show started off its season lampooning the political correctness craze in a timely manner as always, but something was off this year.
The first episode ended abruptly, because the creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, had a much more intricate story to tell than ever before.
This season tied together the college “PC” mentality, safe spaces, gentrification, and advertising flawlessly, but in the end, felt too short, as if this year’s throughline was so complex, it needed more time than the 22-minute episodes.
It would be more interesting to see Parker and Stone produce content primarily for an online provider, such as Netflix, or even Hulu, the latter currently in agreement with Comedy Central to stream every episode of the series so far on HuluPlus.
Overall, while not being one of its best years, “South Park” is still the pinnacle of satire in America right now, taking some of the most controversial political units and throwing them into a melting pot of laughter.
