On Tuesday night, the Laguna Blanca Girls Volleyball Team swept Santa Clara at home in 3 to
move on to the second round of CIF-Playoffs.
The lady Owls kicked into gear on the 1st point and kept the momentum going for the re
st of the match.
Senior Jessie Dusebout led the offense with 5 kills while Junior Clara Madsen tallied 4 digs for the defense to drive the Owls to a 25-10 victory in the first game.
In the last two games, middle-hitter Grace Woolf led the offense with 5 kills in each, leading Laguna to two 25-16 victories.
Grace Woolf tallied team-high 11 kills throughout the match, and Chloe Richman led with 11 digs for the defense.
The Laguna Blanca Owls travel to Covina on Thursday night to face-off against the Gladstone Gladiators in the 2nd round of CIF-Playoffs.
